Children & families

The Children and Families project is a community project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.

The Project offers a range of fun and free activity sessions and events for local families of Enfield Island Village, Enfield Lock and surrounding areas.

Kids Club (Age 4-11 years)

Kids Club for children aged 4-11 years takes place on Wednesdays & Thursdays (Term time only) 4.30-6pm. At Kids Club children will have the opportunity to have lots of fun, try new things and make friends, we do lots of arts and crafts and play fun group games, we enjoy cooking and making things to take home. Kids Club is a welcoming club where children can learn new skills and grow in confidence.

Prior registration is required and booking essential.

Tots Under 5's Stay and Play Group

Tots Under 5s Stay and Play Group takes place on a Tuesdays & Thursdays

10-11.30am (term time only) at Enfield Island Village Hall unit 40-42

At Tots children and their parents can enjoy a range of play activities that support early years development, we have a wonderful routine of free play, coming together for a healthy snack of fruit and then our singing session of popular songs. Its also a great place for parents to socialise and make friends.

(no need to book just turn up and register on the day first come first served)

Family Time Activities

Family Time Activities take place during the school holidays we hold a range of fun activities which are designed to support quality family time and create lovely family memories. Our activities include baking afternoons, Zumba dance, movie nights, trips and much more. (Prior registration is required)


Our parent volunteers support the running of our weekly Tots stay and play sessions. As a parent accessing the tots stay and play session you will have the opportunity to become a volunteer within the group and receive training to support you in your role as well other opportunities for professional development.

We also have volunteer opportunities in our Kids Club too.
