London Community Response Fund (COVID-19 Response 2020–2021)

London Community Response Fund (COVID-19 Response 2020–2021)

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we received emergency funding through The National Lottery Community Fund, distributed by City Bridge Trust via the London Community Response Fund. This support enabled us to:

  • Adapt and deliver youth and community activities safely during lockdown

  • Provide PPE and COVID-safe measures

  • Offer counselling and wellbeing support to staff and volunteers

  • Upskill our team to meet emerging community needs

  • Cover essential core costs during a period of uncertainty

  • Fully rebuild and relaunch our Enact website

The resilience built through this period remains a core strength of Enact today.

The National Lottery Community Fund – Community Growth (2019–2022)

In 2019, we were awarded 3 year National Lottery funding which enabled Enact to grow its community offer, particularly for children, families and younger age groups. This funding helped us to:

  • Expand our Tots, Kids Club, and holiday programmes

  • Develop stronger community networks across Enfield Island Village

  • Build long-term engagement pathways for the community

  • Strengthen safeguarding, governance and organisational stability

This investment laid the community foundations we continue to build on today.
