When a new team joins a community, it naturally takes time to build meaningful relationships. During the pandemic, the Enact team found creative ways to stay connected and engage with young people and families, even through the challenges of lockdown. As things gradually returned to normal, we took time to ask parents and young people for feedback, and their words continue to remind us how important these connections remain.

Here’s what some of our community shared:

Camilla (Parent):

“I personally as a parent find the youth club very helpful for my daughter, as you have helped Camita to develop important personal skills. I have also seen Camita’s self-confidence and self-esteem grow since she started attending Enact. Camita really enjoys boxing, which encourages her to stay fit and think about her health.”

Camita (Young Person):

“As an attendee of the youth club, the team have supported me for many years and helped me become who I am today. I enjoy the talks and support that I get from the team.”

Even as time has moved on from those more challenging days, we remain committed to providing a safe and supportive space where young people and families feel valued and empowered.
