Our Partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation

Enact is proud to have a long-standing partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation, whose ongoing support has allowed us to create meaningful opportunities that celebrate, encourage, and invest in young people.

Each term, young people nominate one of their peers who they feel has demonstrated Enact’s core values — recognising kindness, personal growth, and positive contribution to the group. Award winners then choose how their grant is used, ensuring the money directly benefits the whole group in ways that feel relevant and exciting to them.

Thanks to the Jack Petchey Awards, we’ve been able to offer a wide range of memorable experiences and resources — from Go Ape at Cockfosters, climbing the O2, ice skating at Alexandra Palace, and go-karting at TeamSport Edmonton, to providing coaches for residential trips, shared meals, and group activities chosen by the winners themselves. The funding has also enabled us to invest in equipment that supports young people’s wellbeing and enjoyment, including juicers, blenders, TVs, and a pool table.

In 2022–2023, the Jack Petchey Foundation also helped us sustain our Friday night youth drop-in sessions, offering a safe, supportive space for young people to connect and build confidence.

While their focus of support now primarily helps us celebrate young people’s achievements, their ongoing partnership continues to enrich our work and create opportunities that leave a lasting impact.

We are incredibly grateful to the Jack Petchey Foundation for their belief in young people and their continued investment in Enact’s work.
