Having my child join enact was the best decision we could have made. She has grown in confidence and made amazing friendships along the way. I am thankful for experiences she receives from being there. She has been there 4 years now and considers ENACT family. I joined ENACT as an adult volunteer in 2023 to give back to the community. It has been great getting to know people in the community and be involved in the amazing things ENACT offers. I have grown as an individual and for that I am thankful.

Since our first collaboration with Enact on Barge Fiodra, our partnership has only grown stronger. The enthusiasm of the young leaders, alongside the dedication and support of the youth leaders, has been truly inspiring. Their teamwork and family spirit make working together a pleasure. We are delighted to be partnering with Enact on the Arts Award in 2025.

Being a young leader has brought a hue of possibility to my life. This is because things that may have seemed so out of reach for me before have been done, ticked off like they were achievable in the first place. Abseiling, kayaking, organising events, singing at those, being an interviewer, and last and most definitely not least, going to New York, USA. Obviously we’ve done much more than that and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead!

My experience as a young leader has been amazing and helped my gain skills such as planning, leading a group and speaking confidently infront of others. I especially liked helping out at events like the Christmas party and having fun while still helping out the community. The trips are also very fun and are a reward for all the hard work done by the young leaders!

I love all the Enact Team for their support, kindness and care over the last year for my elderly aunt. We both felt very welcomed, safe and cared for at all the community events and made to feel part of their activities. Partnership work on community events like IWD, health event and Big Lunch were fun, full of friendship and great food!
